Defamation

The reputation, honor,  dignity and self-esteem of a person are crucial and Charter specially protected rights in our society because they define who we are and what distinguishes us from others. The reputation of a person (whether a physical person or a corporation), in particular, is earned over time and often through hard work and sacrifices. Regrettably, all this can be compromised overnight through defamation.

Nowadays, with the instant access to various types of audiences through social networks, it is easy to broadcast or publish defamatory comments that may severely damage the reputation of a person.

To put a stop to defamation (and other such violation of a person’s rights) and to claim damages (punitive or otherwise), various recourses – including the injunction – may be considered by the victims. Our lawyers have the experience in such matters and are there to help you protect your basic rights to reputation and honor.
