Co-founding member of the firm DUBE LATREILLE, Me Serge Dubé has accumulated a wealth of experience as a litigator.
Serge has represented clients before no less than all the Tribunals of the Province of Quebec in nearly every domain of Civil Law. Highly specialized in civil liability (general, sports, professional liability, etc.), he is particularly renowned in the area of medical and hospital liability (malpractice).
Serge has also initiated and pleaded with success a great number of recourses aiming at obtaining compensation for victims of infringements of rights protected by the Charters (reputation, honor, privacy, image, etc.).
His compassionate way of listening to clients has also led him to practice in family law as well as to take charge of important estate and trust litigations, areas in which his great experience has allowed him to set up strategies leading to the settlement of such antagonistic litigations to the great benefit of his clients who thus saved time and money. His experience also extends to oppression remedies in situations of corporate abuses, injunctions and special recourses such as Mareva injunctions, proceedings that Serge has pleaded with great success before the Courts.
