Me Jean-Francois Latreille, CD

Lawyer, partner

Me Latreille is the co-founder of the firm.

His academic pilgrimage has brought him to Toronto, Victoria and Paris before he returned to Montreal to undertake the study of law. During those years, he also worked for the federal government of Canada (Department of National Defense) in the Primary Reserves of the Canadian Forces.

As a lawyer, Me Latreille first specialized in general civil litigation. This gave him the opportunity and privilege to represent the interests of his clients before most of the judicial and administrative tribunals of the Province of Quebec. This invaluable experience benefits his clients who can better appreciate the advantages, the risks, and the costs associated with the judicial process, and to compare same with alternative means of conflict resolution such as mediation, arbitration and settlement conferences.

Over time, in order to meet the growing needs of his business clients, Me Latreille  has expanded his practice to Business law.

Me Latreille firmly believes in the importance of community involvement to insure the progress and betterment of our society, and on the role and responsibility of lawyers in defending the great principles of our democracy and access to justice.
